Diamantino De Matos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benedito Cerqueira. Rolando Jacaré hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Angola City got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Jacaré. 23 minutes into the match, Grigoris Bikakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino De Matos. Angola City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigoris Bikakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Angola City's Simão Fernandes Braga in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Salvador Matias took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Diamantino De Matos to make any attempt to save it. Diamantino De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vasconcelos in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Afonso Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. Angola City's Diamantino De Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Vasconcelos in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Vasconcelos in the 52nd minute of play forced Angola City's goalkeeper Diamantino De Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino De Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SC Farense getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Baltasar Abilio hit a great ball. Diamantino De Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Bikakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino De Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabino Telinhos went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Saúl Akwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Bikakis in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Sabino Telinhos notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Angola City's Diamantino De Matos. Diamantino De Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that SC Farense were the better team. SC Farense's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
