When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Nils-Emil Åberg put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Balko Schiewerling. Despite this Hjalmar Åberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Åberg came free, but Balko Schiewerling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Hamburger SV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bengt-Arne Galle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sebastian Kullig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Grimhäll Boys SK's Nils-Emil Åberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balko Schiewerling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Sebastian Kullig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hjalmar Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjalmar Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Kullig in the 44th minute of the match. Grimhäll Boys SK's Mats Törnqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karsten Bath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Kullig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Åberg having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Grimhäll Boys SK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Galle. Hjalmar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Bath, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Hamburger SV got a corner. Grimhäll Boys SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburger SV's zone, Bengt-Arne Galle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Schiewerling came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Galle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Emil Åberg in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balko Schiewerling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nils-Emil Åberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Balko Schiewerling was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sebastian Kullig hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Nils-Emil Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburger SV's zone, Mats Törnqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Schiewerling came out of the goal and Mats Törnqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Törnqvist came free, but Balko Schiewerling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karsten Bath received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hjalmar Åberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Karsten Bath slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Grimhäll Boys SK were the better team. Grimhäll Boys SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
