An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Di Tullio in the 24th minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Galeone kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Grigoris Bikakis took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Spione. Alvise Spione dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Bikakis in the 39th minute of play forced Faenza's goalkeeper Alvise Spione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Grigoris Bikakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvise Spione. Faenza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigoris Bikakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoris Bikakis in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Spione prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Faenza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Farense were winning 0-4.

58 minutes into the match, Grigoris Bikakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvise Spione. Estevão Macedo replaced Tarcísio Marinho. After a defensive mix-up in Faenza's zone, Grigoris Bikakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Spione came out of the goal and Grigoris Bikakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvise Spione made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Grigoris Bikakis sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes of play, SC Farense's Grigoris Bikakis made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Spione was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Faenza's zone, Sabino Telinhos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Spione came out of the goal and Sabino Telinhos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigoris Bikakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alvise Spione made a huge save. If Sabino Telinhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Spione made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigoris Bikakis in the 80th minute. Ferruccio Galeone's late challenge caught a SC Farense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Galeone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Faenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Galeone to maneuver through the defense. Grigoris Bikakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sabino Telinhos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Spione was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, SC Farense's Grigoris Bikakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Faenza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Farense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
