But to his dismay, Tugay Ekemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Aygün Özduran fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genclerbirliği's protests and gave Aygün Özduran a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Genclerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Aygün Özduran. 14 minutes into the game, Ahmet Refik Kamuran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pastor Erlantz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Tugay Ekemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Erlantz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ricardo Nerio put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Okanay Samil. The nice shot from Ahmet Refik Kamuran in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pastor Erlantz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 43rd match minute, Distribuidores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Jakue to maneuver through the defense. Tugay Ekemen, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Distribuidores's Isaias Rolado got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Ricardo Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanay Samil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After 60 minutes of play, Genclerbirliği's Tugay Ekemen made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Erlantz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Okanay Samil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Nuxila in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Distribuidores getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Isaac Gonzo hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Genclerbirliği's Tugay Ekemen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tugay Ekemen scored 6-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Erlantz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Distribuidores's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik Kamuran came free, but Pastor Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aygün Özduran hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Pastor Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabri Tezcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Tugay Ekemen notched a goal, 8-3, to the right of Distribuidores's Pastor Erlantz. Pastor Erlantz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Genclerbirliği were victorious despite being under pressure from Distribuidores for much of the match.
