When Jacinto Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tibi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Abraão couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tibi FC booed when Hamburger SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Kullig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Kullig in the 37th minute of play forced Tibi FC's goalkeeper Juarês Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belmiro Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Balko Schiewerling made a huge save.

The wind increased when Karsten Bath made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tibi FC's zone, Karsten Bath stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Barral came out of the goal and Karsten Bath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Juarês Barral managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Hamburger SV's Sebastian Kullig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Tibi FC defense, Christoph Butenweg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Barral. The Tibi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Barral should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Jacinto Abraão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balko Schiewerling. Hamburger SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Abraão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Belmiro Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Balko Schiewerling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamburger SV's Balko Schiewerling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Sabóia in the 63rd minute of play. Balko Schiewerling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Abraão in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Tibi FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Afonso Salgado hit a great ball. Juarês Barral made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sebastian Kullig sent off a good shot on target. Balko Schiewerling came out of the goal and Jacinto Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Hamburger SV got a freekick which was hit by Emil Marissen. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Belmiro Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balko Schiewerling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Kullig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Juarês Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Marissen during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Sabóia in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balko Schiewerling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tibi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
