Distribuidores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Otsando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Gilen charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Gilen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, AC Ceviche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Gilen to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, AC Ceviche's Emanuel Faron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pastor Erlantz. Pastor Erlantz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benjamin Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Agustin Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Aurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Distribuidores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Emanuel Faron scored to the left of an out of position Pastor Erlantz, making the score, 2-0. If Emanuel Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Lorenzo Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Faron to make the kick off. Ladislao Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Agustin Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Machado in the 57th minute of play forced Distribuidores's goalkeeper Pastor Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Nuxila in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Aurre saved AC Ceviche from getting behind. Victorio Orixe kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Benjamin Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Aurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Aurre having to interfere. When Distribuidores's Benjamin Nuxila in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, AC Ceviche's Vicente Machado got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Distribuidores's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Machado came free, but Pastor Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Erlantz having to interfere. When Benjamin Nuxila came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Distribuidores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Nuxila couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Nuxilas short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Agustin Aurre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The AC Ceviche players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
