In the 7th minute Belmiro Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybars Ramazanoğulları saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tibi FC's Belmiro Sabóia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baybars Ramazanoğulları. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Tibi FC defense, Ahmet Refik Kamuran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Barral. The Tibi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Barral should have stopped the shot. Tugay Ekemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Barral having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Abraão got free with Baybars Ramazanoğulları in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juarês Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Emrah Alptekin in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Genclerbirliği getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kamil Kılıçer hit a great ball. Belmiro Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Baybars Ramazanoğulları tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tibi FC! Baybars Ramazanoğulları made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jacinto Abraão sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Tibi FC. Roberto Vianna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baybars Ramazanoğulları. 2-1. Sabri Tezcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Genclerbirliği's Baybars Ramazanoğulları got control of the ball when Jacinto Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Mustafa Emrah Alptekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genclerbirliği's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Emrah Alptekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to Tibi FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Severino Sergipano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tibi FC's zone, Mustafa Emrah Alptekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Barral came out of the goal and Mustafa Emrah Alptekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Abraão took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baybars Ramazanoğulları. Baybars Ramazanoğulları dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Genclerbirliği defense, Jacinto Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baybars Ramazanoğulları. The Genclerbirliği fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baybars Ramazanoğulları should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Belmiro Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baybars Ramazanoğulları breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Emrah Alptekin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Jacinto Abraão notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Genclerbirliği's Baybars Ramazanoğulları. Baybars Ramazanoğulları was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genclerbirliği's Baybars Ramazanoğulları played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Abraão in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Abraão in the 89th minute of play forced Genclerbirliği's goalkeeper Baybars Ramazanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tibi FC booed when Genclerbirliği was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aygün Özduran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Salgado in the 96th minute of play forced Genclerbirliği's goalkeeper Baybars Ramazanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Genclerbirliği players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tibi FC.
