With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Shi Feng in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Luis Chilavert saved Ballet Azul from getting behind. Navigators were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Ballet Azul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hakan Işık took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, Navigators's goal looked a bit too open when René Puente came free, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ballet Azul from getting a goal against them. After 45 minutes of play, Navigators's Cai Shi Feng made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Luis Chilavert was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Navigators's Cai Shi Feng got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Ballet Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eladio Ulloa to maneuver through the defense. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Yavuz Bülent Akbatu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Esequiel Dohrmann sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odín Enríquez during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Navigators booed when Ballet Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odín Enríquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Malik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eladio Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ballet Azul had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
