A hard shot by Goran Jeknić from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Calistrat Madgearu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Calistrat Madgearu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo sent off a good shot on target. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Joseph in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Warriors of Gora™ defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Ramoser. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MIT eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
