Humberto Pitta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Damián Martínez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Humberto Pitta could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Damián Martínez however easily saved by the left post. If Fabiano Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Fabiano Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian de Moraes came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damián Martínez having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fabiano Abraão made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damián Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Damián Martínez managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Humberto Pitta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Florentino Veronica hit a great ball. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Frédson Leme got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Abraão in the 44th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Pitta took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damián Martínez. Damián Martínez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Charles Vallin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Abraão in the 62nd minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Florentino Veronica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballeritos del Baile and the Merusca F&P - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Damián Martínez came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Negri. But to his dismay, Marcinho Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Humberto Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damián Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Pitta ran back to his position shaking his head. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Negri in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Charles Vallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caballeritos del Baile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merusca F&P - CIMZ the free kick. Damián Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Negri went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcinho Negri in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damián Martínez saved Caballeritos del Baile from getting behind. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Negri in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Negri in the 97th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merusca F&P - CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
