Ulryk Falk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alperen Bozkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Manuel Kurczak in the 18th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulryk Falk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alperen Bozkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mina Atmadja in the 31st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Eurico Rezende replaced Luiz Fábio Passos. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golaki Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulryk Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
