The Enhebrator FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Enhebrator FC's Vinícius Dembélé looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Enhebrator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Haroldo Tepedino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo-Enrique Textex. Ricardo-Enrique Textex yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 30th minute Haroldo Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo-Enrique Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Gol managed to work through Enhebrator FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Xande Gol dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benito Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Benito Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The New Joinville - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Enhebrator FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Dembélé stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo-Enrique Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Luiz Fábio Baiano was substituted for Chicão Fernandez. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Humberto do Nascimento was substituted for Murillo Esteves. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Rafael Mendez got a free kick in the 64th minute. Enhebrator FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 72nd minute, Humberto do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Silvinho Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Vinícius Dembélé sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Humberto do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo-Enrique Textex. Enhebrator FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Silvinho Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enhebrator FC's Vinícius Dembélé got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcelo Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Luiz Fábio Baiano got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Humberto do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo-Enrique Textex was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
