When Cosme Turi fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cable a Tierra's protests and gave Cosme Turi a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Turi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Christian de Sousa got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Hodei in the 41st minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silvinho Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xande Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Gerazan in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amador Arias. Amador Arias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Amador Arias was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Haroldo Tepedino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Tepedino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Amador Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Tepedino in the 60th minute of play. Silvinho Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Angelo Erauso. But to his dismay, Angelo Erauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Humberto do Nascimento was substituted for Murillo Esteves. New Joinville - FSCMZ's José Carlos Veiga was substituted for Silvério Rossi. Xande Gol's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xande Gol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
