The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 17 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Havier came free, but Ismael de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Deportivo Gamberro's Sebastian Hermon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastian Hermon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Gamberro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastian Hermon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Gamberro! Zacarias Ulizes had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Vito Furlan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ambrosio Kepa's late challenge caught a Pragmáticos 1903's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Kepa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pragmáticos 1903 booed when Deportivo Gamberro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Gamberro's Zacarias Ulizes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Gamberro from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gamberro's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Furlan came free, but Zacarias Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Eneko came free, but Ismael de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Naldo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Niceto Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Niceto Perpinya notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pragmáticos 1903's Ismael de Queiroz. Ismael de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Deportivo Gamberro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Havier made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Furlan in the 54th minute of play forced Deportivo Gamberro's goalkeeper Zacarias Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rafael Faria fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pragmáticos 1903's protests and gave Rafael Faria a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Diego Eneko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Von Euler-Chelpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Von Euler-Chelpin in the 90th minute of the match.
