Oliver Bierhoff took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Corrêa. Luiz Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 13th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Dionísio in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wambasther Gattuso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Erick Braun. 31 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luiz Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Dionísio came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Wambasther Gattuso in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Delfines's Hilario Asteri. 41 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Martin Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Oscar Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Delfines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Bierhoff to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Luiz Corrêa in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Corrêa. Oliver Bierhoff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Luiz Corrêa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Corrêa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff. But to his dismay, Oliver Bierhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Los Delfines made a substitution. Arquímedes Cesario replaced Oliver Bierhoff. In the 69th minute of the match, Lu Bin Yuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Corrêa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atilano Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Noel Silveira was substituted for Tony Dionísio. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Tor Hjeltman got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Arquímedes Cesario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Corrêa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 82nd minute Los Delfines were awarded a corner. Lu Bin Yuan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Delfines's Lu Bin Yuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Corrêa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute Lu Bin Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Quinten in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Noel Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Quinten came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Quinten in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Los Delfines could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ROSÁRIO SPORT throughout the match.
