In the 8th minute of the match, Alper Benli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Vítor Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kenny Lightfoot hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes, Nonatos United's Cengizhan Kaan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantin Mudura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nonatos United reached it. Andrzej Juskowiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, WZG Sandomierz's Andrzej Juskowiak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Vítor Arósio. Constantin Mudura had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Constantin Mudura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Juskowiak made a kick off.
