After 15 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Ayala. 17 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Romano came free, but Kire Irving reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Nery Pumpido made a huge save. In the 21st minute Quebrachitos FC were awarded a corner. Mauricio Crispo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mauricio Crispo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nery Pumpido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Ruzzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Blasi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrachitos FC. In the 68thth minute of the game Marcell Pécsi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabossi's Nery Pumpido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
