Genaro Cassidy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Cordario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anga FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Hoff was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Mario Farris was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Basilio Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackson Shipley, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Basilio Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackson Shipley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Franco Di Giambattista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Goel Mahal. Raul Erramun might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Di Giambattista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Erramun ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Franco Di Giambattista managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Anga FC's Goel Mahal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goel Mahal in the 90th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Franco Di Giambattista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Genaro Cassidy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Miami Futbol Club.
