The Tabossi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nery Pumpido should have stopped the shot. Zygmunt Kaznocha made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tabossi's Simula Dron. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arsenio Bembe hit a great ball. Marcus Rashford hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Delmar Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Romano in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Marcus Rashford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kanalla F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Marcus Rashford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nery Pumpido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Tabossi's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 27th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Rashford in the 29th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Rashford in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Leon Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Santo Romano made the kick off in the second half. Santo Romano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Ignado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Rashford got free with Nery Pumpido in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Rashford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabossi's Rico Marica was substituted for Santo Romano. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Ercüment Tanju replaced Marcus Rashford. Tabossi's Fabio Ferman was substituted for Arsenio Bembe. Ercüment Tanju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nery Pumpido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Ercüment Tanju sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kanalla F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
