Sergio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Alfredo Madeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Nazario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Leonardo Tiadoro fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Nazario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waitakere F.C.'s Sergio Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Madeo in the 44th minute of play. Sergio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Marin in the 81st minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Marco Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
