After 22 minutes, César Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Iguaçu MZFC and the AKDmicos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When César Alagoano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Giuseppe Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Galoer in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Rocha in the 40th minute of play forced AKDmicos FC's goalkeeper Ruben Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Furtado in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmo Rocha to make the kick off. Nunez Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giuseppe Lara came out and tried to block the shot, but Nunez Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 54th minute. Juninho Martins replaced Túlio Vale. Nunez Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Lara made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Vladimir Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Lara made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AKDmicos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
