In the 12th minute, Simon Gutierrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lino Garoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Isusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Frutos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Gervasio Dei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acercate Y Patea de Lejos the free kick. After 20 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Dei. Gabriel Isusko scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Garoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Gabriel Isusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Garoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Casimiro Lertxun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Acercate Y Patea de Lejos! Acercate Y Patea de Lejos:s Primitivo Tiso showed great skill when he stopped Cesar Telo:s penalty. Lucas Frutos's late challenge caught a Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Frutos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Gabriel Isusko sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Lino Garoa didn't even have to move. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Cesar Telo managed to work through Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cesar Telo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After the first half Acercate Y Patea de Lejos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Isusko to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Primitivo Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Cesar Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Candido Jerrald was substituted for Abel Raymundo. Cesar Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
