The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Silvano Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tore-Andre Flø in the 8th minute of play forced Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waitakere F.C.'s Sergio Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tore-Andre Flø in the 15th minute of play. Andy Ćuti was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Waitakere F.C.! After 22 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Gil. 27 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tore-Andre Flø came free, but Sergio Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waitakere F.C.'s Braulio Chorche was substituted for Mateo Marin. After having played for 38 minutes, Virgilio Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Pueblo came free, but Cayetano Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tore-Andre Flø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Pueblo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tore-Andre Flø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Waitakere F.C.'s Sergio Nazario got control of the ball when Tore-Andre Flø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tore-Andre Fløs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Sergio Nazario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tore-Andre Flø. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tore-Andre Flø managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Tore-Andre Flø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Nazario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tore-Andre Flø. The corner led C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Nazario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Sergio Nazario managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodolfo Cebrian kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 89th minute, Braulio Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tore-Andre Flø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.U.E. DE COMERCIO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
