With a little luck, MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt got control of the ball when Victoriano Maore tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Toninho Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Maore. Mathias Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ernesto Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Hernández came free, but Ernesto Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Héctor Hernández managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAZER SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Hernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Guido Dimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, MAZER SAF's Mathias Favoretto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Sesuldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MAZER SAF reached it. Ernesto Sesuldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Héctor Hernández went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Hernández in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Gonçalves in the 38th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Ernesto Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Hernández in the 40th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Medeiros. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Victoriano Maore made the kick off in the second half. Enéas Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ernesto Sesuldo made a huge save. With a little luck, A.A. Cachila's Ernesto Sesuldo got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Fidele to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's Ernesto Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Favoretto in the 66th minute of play. When Héctor Hernández came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the MAZER SAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Héctor Hernández couldn't finish the play. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Luís Gustavo Recife replaced Paulo Renato Gonçalves. MAZER SAF's Jerônimo Baiano was substituted for Enéas Marinho. 76 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Ceresso came free, but Ernesto Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerônimo Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ernesto Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Recife came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Sesuldo could save by the left post. In the 88th minute, Breno Bidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Schmidt having to interfere. Lorenzo Fidele kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. MAZER SAF played a much better game than A.A. Cachila and deserved their victory. The A.A. Cachila players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
