After 8 minutes, Laureano Vergaray made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Smuskiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Laureano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Pablo Angel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Edgar Smuskiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thomas Ulleberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Hahay defense, Laureano Vergaray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Smuskiewicz. The Hahay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Smuskiewicz should have stopped the shot. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zakrzewski in the 31st minute of play. Edgar Smuskiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 37th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Smuskiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hahay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Abalos was slow to take the kick. During this time Adrogue FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Laureano Vergaray almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz did a great save. Laureano Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Vergaray made a kick off. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 66th minute of play. Hahay made a substitution. Gilbert Zajac replaced Wágner de Amorim. Thomas Ulleberg made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastian Banaszak immediately put the ball in play. If Laureano Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgar Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 72nd minute of play. Edgar Smuskiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Vergaray in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Smuskiewicz saved Hahay from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Laureano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Smuskiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Vergaray in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Smuskiewicz saved Hahay from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Laureano Vergaray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Smuskiewicz. Hahay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Vergaray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 93rd minute Laureano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Pablo Angel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Smuskiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
