Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 6th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Gallardo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. Adrogue FC's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 15th minute of play. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Marcelo Gallardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Ekrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20thth minute of the game Marcelo Gallardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ramiro Funes Mori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adrogue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 38 minutes of play, Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Arne Haglund made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Leonardo Trancoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 55th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pablo Angel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 58th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Gallardo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adrogue FC. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Börje Stål hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 68th minute of play. Franco Armani had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Jose Indalecio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 75th minute Benigno Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piti Martinez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Adrogue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piti Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Franco Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Haglund's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The corner led to Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 85th minute 高文乐 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the game Börje Stål made a throw-in which Fernan Berart played forward. Börje Stål hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Adrogue FC's Benigno Richie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
