With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Costa in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Armani saved Adrogue FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Omar Falleto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Omar Falleto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Fulgencio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Los Podridos ll's Fulgencio Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Armani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adrogue FC's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Bilintx in the 33rd minute of play. Nestor Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Filiberto Erramu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Armani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Juan Pablo Angel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adrogue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Pablo Angel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Falleto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 43rd minute of play. Los Podridos ll's Verner Sundström was substituted for Ulises Costa. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Verner Sundström made a kick off. When Juan Pablo Angel came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Adrogue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Pablo Angel couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Gallardo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Omar Falleto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adrogue FC. With a little luck, Adrogue FC's Franco Armani got control of the ball when Verner Sundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 高文乐's late challenge caught a Los Podridos ll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 高文乐 helped the player get up and apologised. Adrogue FC's Piti Martinez was substituted for Juan Pablo Angel. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Leandro Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Los Podridos ll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Dunixi couldn't finish the play. Adrogue FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Verner Sundström scored to the left of an out of position Franco Armani, making the score, 1-3. The Los Podridos ll supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Podridos ll would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
