After taking down the ball on Sportivo Luan Toro's corner Sergius Ramus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Didi Papardelas quite easily take care of the ball. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olli Fiedler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuri Castillejo got free with Didi Papardelas in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Robert Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Papardelas made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Emanuel Barbu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Piquirenda FC's zone, Emanuel Barbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Papardelas came out of the goal and Emanuel Barbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Claus came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Emanuel Barbu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Didi Papardelas to make any attempt to save it. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Fidencio in the 38th minute of play. Sportivo Luan Toro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergius Ramus in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Olli Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Papardelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olli Fiedler to make the kick off. Didi Papardelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Taube in the 52nd minute of the match. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 60th minute of play. Didi Papardelas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Barbu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. In the 94th minute, Laureano Abeita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Davison was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Piquirenda FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
