An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 5th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dave Di Filippo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermanö Oilers's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Di Filippo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter-Michael Schmeichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Dave Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Janusze Futbolu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harel Minsky was slow to take the kick. During this time Hermanö Oilers's players had a chance to rest. Hermanö Oilers's Harel Minsky was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goal looked a bit too open when Deo Mičánek came free, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 35th minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Hjalmar Askelöf replaced Patrik Holmberg. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Stålman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ricard Quaresma clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Loureiro during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Eduardo Loureiro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Janusze Futbolu's Eugeniusz Osowski was substituted for Ricard Quaresma. After 54 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Loureiro. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ingemar Stålman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Claudio Caniglia scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Haeger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Janusze Futbolu booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harel Minsky didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Claudio Caniglia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hermanö Oilers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
