In the 16th minute, Benigno Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but David Abad made a huge save. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dolar Blue Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Iratze was slow to take the kick. During this time Piquirenda FC's players had a chance to rest. Piquirenda FC's Roberto Iratze was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Abad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Efrain Manny hit a great ball. Valdemar Holm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Didi Papardelas. Didi Papardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aitor Branca in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aitor Branca in the 35th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piquirenda FC's Severiano Ibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Aitor Branca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Dolar Blue Ψ were awarded a corner. Valdemar Holm went to the cornerflag to take it. Didi Papardelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Xiang Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Efrain Manny got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Valdemar Holm came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dolar Blue Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Holm couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dolar Blue Ψ's Epifanio Lartaun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gwidon Czajka in the 52 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Epifanio Lartaun in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Piquirenda FC's Gwidon Czajka. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gwidon Czajka hit a great ball. Didi Papardelas was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Aitor Branca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aitor Branca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Piquirenda FC's Eugenio Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's Eugenio Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner. Roberto Iratze went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Benigno Claus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dolar Blue Ψ made a substitution. Remigio Vigil replaced Santiago Eriksen. Didi Papardelas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Vigil in the 70th minute. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. If Eugenio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bernal came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Arnulfo Chano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Didi Papardelas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Chano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Didi Papardelas. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cayetano Lluciano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Abad was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Cayetano Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolar Blue Ψ played a much better game than Piquirenda FC and deserved their victory. The Piquirenda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
