Hauk Hareide struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Robustiano Gelmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Bichineta. In the 9th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Säv to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Benvido in the 10th minute. Dale Dolar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Dariusz Motyl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robustiano Gelmiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Benvido in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Sotelo AFC's Siro Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Pål Säv got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Senna got free with Silvestre Peli in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Mosen's late challenge caught a La Bichineta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Mosen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Esteve Mosen hit a great ball. Robustiano Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robustiano Gelmiro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauk Hareide in the 41st minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Benvido to make the kick off. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Benvido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sotelo AFC's zone, Hauk Hareide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Gelmiro came out of the goal and Hauk Hareide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hauk Hareide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Gelmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Dale Dolar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotelo AFC made a substitution. Cui Liang Yue replaced Siro Benvido. After a rather tough play, Sotelo AFC's Dale Dolar got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Sun Yuan Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Cui Liang Yue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Liang Yue came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Pål Säv got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Pål Säv. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Liang Yue, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the La Bichineta defense, Cui Liang Yue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Peli. The La Bichineta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Peli should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Peli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cui Liang Yue's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 93 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Abancens. In the 95th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Ferdi to maneuver through the defense. Sotelo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
