Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 24th minute of play. Oskar Haeger was a little too slow when Justino Roland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. Sportivo Luan Toro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergius Ramus in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Harel Minsky came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Luan Toro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harel Minsky was slow to take the kick. During this time Hermanö Oilers's players had a chance to rest. The audience cheered when Harel Minsky's long shot passed Robert Davison's right side. It was 1-2, 41 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Di Filippo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dave Di Filippo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
