In the 7th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Velasco. Angelo Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Evtim Kúrdzhev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Forsyth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Vimaro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aureliano Buendia in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on CD Municipal's corner Aureliano Buendia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Velasco quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Angelo Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Carlos de Brito got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fausto Vimaro. In the 24th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Souza in the 25th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Velasco saved Futbol Club RRFV from getting behind. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 32nd minute of the match. Enrique Cassaretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Velasco made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Enrique Cassaretto sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 41st minute of the match. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Velasco. Futbol Club RRFV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futbol Club RRFV's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Futbol Club RRFV defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Velasco. The Futbol Club RRFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Velasco should have stopped the shot. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hustaz Gorostarzu sent off a good shot on target. Evtim Kúrdzhev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angelo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Municipal made a substitution. Gunnar Ekrot replaced Zlatan Molina. CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach was substituted for Evtim Kúrdzhev. A sloppy throw-in by Norberto Lara in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach. Tulio Andinyach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Velasco having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hustaz Gorostarzu. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Fausto Vimaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Forsyth, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 洪延广 got free with George Forsyth in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Municipal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Futbol Club RRFV for a fine match.
