Enrique Cassaretto started the match with the kick off. Joel Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Buendia in the 3rd minute of the match. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Cristofor. Joel Cristofor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joel Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NECKER49's Joel Cristofor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Cristofor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evtim Kúrdzhev in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the NECKER49 defense, Evtim Kúrdzhev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Cristofor. The NECKER49 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Cristofor should have stopped the shot. Henry Rockeloos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of NECKER49's Joel Cristofor. Joel Cristofor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Cristofor made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Enrique Cassaretto sent off a good shot on target. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Cassaretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Cilio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Moises Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Cristofor saved NECKER49 from getting behind. NECKER49's Teofilo Gauargi was substituted for Carlos Larra. Jeronimo Elizardo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Joel Cristofor, a very annoying self made goal in the 74th minute which led to 4-0. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NECKER49's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edelmiro Moise hit a great ball. Joel Cristofor came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Gunnar Ekrot. But to his dismay, Gunnar Ekrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Cristofor was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
