The corner led Anversa Club's Serhan Mehmet to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikita Kudryavtsev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantin Isaev to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Fedosey Gandlevskiy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waut Van Der Meeren. Anversa Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedosey Gandlevskiy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 74th minute, Nicu Vornicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anversa Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Nicu Vornicu in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
