After 12 minutes, Imants Blasāns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jastreb and the SuperFuerza TM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Jastreb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SuperFuerza TM:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 12th minute, where SuperFuerza TM:s Maarten Stubbe tricked Jastreb:s Navarro Montoya with a difficult ball by the left post. Rogelio Etxepare hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Chepe came free, but Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 93rd minute Sindo Landa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
