Hahay's Wágner de Amorim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camacho Cadenas in the 44 minute of the game. Zabulón Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Philipp Van Kestbeek made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Klavertje Vier's Claude Montens was substituted for Philipp Van Kestbeek. Hahay made a substitution. Gilbert Zajac replaced Wágner de Amorim. In the 77th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Radzyminski to maneuver through the defense. Aigeus Milionis made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Joos Horemans sent off a good shot on target. Aigeus Milionis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Celedonio Kemen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aigeus Milionis. That made the score 2-2 in the 90 minute of play. Aigeus Milionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Steve Gerrard hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
