During this time Jucunditas's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the match, Jucunditas's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Motta came free, but Bruno Gemar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Alexandre Brasil got control of the ball when Frank Pasin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jucunditas's Bruno Gemar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Jucunditas from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Pasin came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jucunditas booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Gomolka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Vieira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 93rd minute, Serginho Amorim fired a really elegant long shot, but Bruno Gemar threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
