Manuel Lovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Outlaws FC were furious when Mileta Danilović was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 28th minute, where FC Oltul Slatina:s Ilie Leahu tricked Outlaws FC:s Vefa Doğay with a difficult ball by the left post. The goal made the score 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Outlaws FC's goalkeeper Vefa Doğay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iurie Avacariței. When Naum Knežević fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outlaws FC's protests and gave Naum Knežević a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 93 minutes, Ismael Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Outlaws FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Oltul Slatina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
