After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Ong Bongo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Ong Bongo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ong Bongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Bongo came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 21st minute of the match. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Bongo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Ong Bongo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 27 minutes, Szczepan Kasprzak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bemowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szczepan Kasprzak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Olgierd Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ong Bongo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Mauro Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ong Bongo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bemowo's Ong Bongo. But to his dismay, Ong Bongo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ong Bongo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Alcides Niedermayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Alcides Niedermayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute Pastor Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Bielejewski came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Mauro Rameriz. But to his dismay, Mauro Rameriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 87th minute, Nicasio Cugat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmond Verdun. The goal made the score 2-4. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. Nicasio Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Cugat came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of FC Bemowo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Errecaborda AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
