After a rather tough play, CSKA's Alexander Pasquarelli got a free kick in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Dahlman during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, one of CSKA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CSKA. In the 21st minute, Leopoldo Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tello Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Pasquarelli in the 24th minute of play forced Souston C.F's goalkeeper Hossam Nadolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xulio Bermudez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Omar Lauren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner led Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez to fire away a dangerous shot which Omar Lauren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Xulio Bermudez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Lauren was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Xulio Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Pasquarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hossam Nadolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carl Ancelotti came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Ancelotti couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Ancelotti made a kick off. A collision led to CSKA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amuchechukwu McPherson hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Valeriy Dyachenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA and the Souston C.F players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, Souston C.F's 余宽冰 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Lauren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulio Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to CSKA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leopoldo Vianna hit a great ball. CSKA's Omar Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulio Bermudez in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Carl Ancelotti could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Hossam Nadolski however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Hossam Nadolski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Souston C.F's goalkeeper Hossam Nadolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 余宽冰 struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Omar Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Souston C.F. Souston C.F's Abad Mezquita was substituted for Fabinho de Medeiros. Omar Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin Justo in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulio Bermudez in the 91st minute of play forced CSKA's goalkeeper Omar Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Souston C.F's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
