Benvido Fuica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Ralondo Dopazo with Kelemen Reyna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. ≮王者归来≯ ⭐石♔安⭐'s Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pero Barrutia in the 41st minute of play. Benvido Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rei Pelé, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bazil Corales in the 59th minute of the match. Despite this Benvido Fuica quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
