The audience was convinced that Terry Jamieson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Diegotxe was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 28 minutes Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Terry Jamieson who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Shi Yang Sha got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Erasmo Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Degutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Milferio were awarded a corner. Terry Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Jailson da Mata managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson da Mata in the 36th minute of play forced Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Erasmo Diegotxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jamieson in the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Milferio's Celso Javiar got control of the ball when Boukjan Bunt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Terry Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Javier Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Terry Jamieson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Avellaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Milferio to win.
