If Radamel Falcao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the FC Wil 1900 defense, Anton Gertsyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lionel Paly. The FC Wil 1900 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lionel Paly should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona Lassa's goalkeeper Theo Fil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Barcelona Lassa's Anton Gertsyk got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Gertsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. Theo Fil came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor. But to his dismay, Tory Pryor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anton Gertsyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Paly having to make a save. When FC Barcelona Lassa's Radamel Falcao in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wil 1900's goalie prevented a goal. Theo Fil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes FC Barcelona Lassa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emery Heller who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Wil 1900's corner Philipp Santagapita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theo Fil quite easily take care of the ball. Lionel Paly made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kazimierz Merski sent off a good shot on target. Theo Fil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ivan Dové shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Fil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tory Pryor in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theo Fil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Gertsyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tory Pryor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kazimierz Merski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Fil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anton Gertsyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel Paly was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The FC Wil 1900 fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when FC Wil 1900's Pirmin Jäggi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Téo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Fil having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Curtiz Klein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pirmin Jäggi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Theo Fil made a huge save. FC Barcelona Lassa's Theo Fil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Rosa in the 92nd minute of play. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Gertsyk in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Alex Leisibach dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theo Fil, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Wil 1900 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
