In the 8th minute, Ni Yu Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Grecu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Kemal Korur, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Berndt Edelweiss hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Spineanu came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the RED BLUE STAR defense, Niklas Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Pierz. The RED BLUE STAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Pierz should have stopped the shot. Bacary Roudier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Basso. The Shadows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Răzvan Spineanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Shadows's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz got control of the ball when David Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gelu Plopșor hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
