A very good chance. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Luan Toro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anacleto Geofredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Mei in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergius Ramus during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position.
