Barbudos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dawid Rojek scored to the left of an out of position Omar Abadia, making the score, 1-0. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Ferrer in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Torres saved LA LUZ F.C. from getting behind. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Miguel Ángel Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Beccari in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Barbudos FC got a corner. LA LUZ F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barbudos FC's Omar Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Barbudos FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Chayo got free with Omar Abadia in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Venceslas in the 44th minute of play forced Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Omar Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Jailson Britto replaced Teo Venceslas. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilla Açıkalın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Rojek in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
