Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Guatemala's Christian Najarro started the match with a crisp pass. Elias Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Di Massimo in the 18th minute of play. Elias Leiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Iezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Opriș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatemala's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
