Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Azerbaijan's Äliqulu Vermäliyev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Stintino FC from getting a goal against them. Antonello Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonello Ranieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Säftär Güläliyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Stintino FC's Alberto Iezzi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Iezzi in the 20th minute of play. Daşdämir Albändiyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Ranieri having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Attilio Losito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stintino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Losito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri got control of the ball when Äliqulu Vermäliyev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Azerbaijan's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Iannucci came free, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Ranieri made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Äliqulu Vermäliyev sent off a good shot on target. Azerbaijan's Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Iezzi in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes Azerbaijan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvise Vittorio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Stintino FC's Alvise Vittorio to fire away a dangerous shot which Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daşdämir Albändiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antonello Ranieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azerbaijan's Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Bertoni in the 39th minute of play. Antonello Ranieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Äliqulu Vermäliyev's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonello Ranieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alberto Iezzi made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Iezzis short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Armando Di Massimo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Antonello Ranieri came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Azerbaijan's Äliqulu Vermäliyev. But to his dismay, Äliqulu Vermäliyev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Antonello Ranieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Säftär Güläliyev in the 61st minute of play. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Iezzi in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 63rd minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Ranieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Säftär Güläliyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Attilio Losito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov made a huge save. A collision led to Stintino FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Angelo Bertoni hit a great ball. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Alberto Iezzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Iezzi really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Azerbaijan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
