An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Pirlo in the 4th minute of play forced AYAZAĞA FK's goalkeeper Adulfo Antunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Aguilera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berke Gümüşsoy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute, Berke Gümüşsoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AYAZAĞA FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 16th minute of play forced AYAZAĞA FK's goalkeeper Adulfo Antunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezgin Aktemur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nathan Felder was slow to take the kick. During this time AYAZAĞA FK's players had a chance to rest. In the 26th minute, Jyrki Sillanpää ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adulfo Antunez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 32 minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nathan Felder who took care of the corner kick. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Gümüşsoy in the 34th minute of the match. AYAZAĞA FK's Berke Gümüşsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Berke Gümüşsoy came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the AYAZAĞA FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berke Gümüşsoy couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atabek Makbul in the 45th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

AYAZAĞA FK's Metin Keçeci was substituted for August Bergendahl. AYAZAĞA FK's Matteo Mata was substituted for Berke Gümüşsoy. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fábio Rocha made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Kálmán Balogh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Higinio Aguilera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Güralp Sekib in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. In the 76th minute Matteo Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adulfo Antunez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Güralp Sekib got free with Higinio Aguilera in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Güralp Sekib kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 85thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Los Hijos de Doña Beija's keeper Higinio Aguilera was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 91 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Adulfo Antunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's attentive Feliciano Haritzeder managed to snatch the ball when Muzafer Cannavaro made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. In the 98th minute, Luís Fábio Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
